Position Description

Bartender

With a newly renovated golf course and a reputation for exceptional service, our Lake Martin country club offers a dynamic and rewarding hospitality environment. We are seeking an energetic, service-focused Bartender to join our team. This is a multi-area role, meaning team members may be scheduled in our restaurants, bars, member events, banquets, and special functions as business needs require.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and welcoming experience for members and guests.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, wine selections, and daily specials to make recommendations.
• Ensure the bar area remains clean, organized, stocked, and presentation-ready.
• Maintain accurate billing and transaction records while following all club service standards and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to deliver exceptional service.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Assist with banquet and event bartending assignments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience, preferably in a club, resort, or fine dining environment preferred but not required.
• Bartenders must be willing and able to Server Train and work serving shifts when scheduled.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions as business needs require.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
